Position Summary:
The Design Studio Operations role will oversee the daily operations of the design studio, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient use of resources. This position involves managing studio logistics, coordinating with various teams, including design, facilities, marketing, service and events. The role will be approximately 50% studio operations and 50% show car logistics and event support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the design studio.
- Oversee the procurement, maintenance and organization of studio equipment and materials.
- Implement and monitor studio policies and procedures.
- Ensure the studio environment is conducive to creativity and productivity.
- Manage studio budgets and resources effectively.
- Support the design team with administrative tasks and project management.
- Oversee concept and show cars movement.
- Transport assets locally.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and diagnostics.
- Coordinate repairs with studio model team or local service centers when assets are away.
- Travel with and support assets during events.
- Prepare accessories and wheels for travel.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in design studio operations or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in using studio management tools and software.
- Experience in budgeting and resource management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Experience in loading/unloading/securing multi-million dollar show vehicles.
- Able to travel internationally.
- Good speaker and good coordinator.
- Experience with studio safety protocols and compliance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the studio and independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
