Clay Custom Homes is a dynamic Custom Home Builder and Design Firm specializing in residential and commercial interiors. We pride ourselves on delivering innovative, high-quality design solutions tailored to our clients' unique needs. As we grow, we’re seeking a talented Interior Designer with material sales experience to join our team.

Position: Interior Designer

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget.
• Sell and promote interior materials, including cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and finishes.
• Develop design concepts, space plans, and mood boards to bring client visions to life.
• Create detailed 3D renderings and technical drawings for project execution.
• Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless project completion.
• Preferred but not required: Experience or interest in cabinet design (on-the-job training available!).
• Preferred but not required: Proficiency in 2020 Cabinet Design software or other design software.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and innovative design techniques.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Required: Experience in material sales (flooring, countertops, cabinetry, etc.).
✅ A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
✅ [4] years of experience in interior design and/or sales.
✅ Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or 3D rendering tools.
✅ Strong communication and client relationship skills.
✅ A keen eye for aesthetics, functionality, and detail.
