JOB SUMMARY
The Manager of Public Relations will lead PR initiatives for Estate Yountville’s food & beverage offerings, including our restaurants, bars, special dining events, and partnerships. This role is responsible for shaping and executing PR strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive media coverage, and position our culinary programs at the forefront of Napa Valley’s hospitality scene.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a PR strategy that amplifies Estate Yountville’s restaurants, beverage programs, and culinary experiences, securing high-impact media coverage in top-tier food, lifestyle, and travel publications.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and industry insiders, particularly in San Francisco, Napa Valley, and national media markets.
- Oversee media outreach, press releases, and pitches, ensuring compelling storytelling that aligns with the brand’s vision.
- Collaborate with marketing, social media, and events teams to ensure cohesive messaging and cross-channel storytelling.
- Manage all F&B-related press opportunities, including chef interviews, media tastings, and feature placements in culinary publications.
- Partner with key food & beverage stakeholders, including chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists, to shape narratives that showcase our unique offerings.
- Coordinate press trips, influencer visits, and media events that highlight Estate Yountville’s hospitality and dining experiences.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor PR activity, leveraging insights to refine our strategy and messaging.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in public relations, preferably within restaurants, luxury hospitality, or wine.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling pitches and press materials.
- A proven track record of securing high-profile press coverage in publications such as Eater, Food & Wine, Bon Appétit, SF Chronicle, and national travel/luxury outlets.
- Experience with managing media events, press visits, and influencer collaborations.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Passion for culinary excellence, fine dining, and Napa Valley’s food & wine scene.
