Our leading Communication tech client is hiring a
UX Designer/Product Designer
to play a critical role in leading the design of their application experiences, focusing on improving workflows and delivering delightful, human-centered solutions. You'll collaborate closely with Services Teams, Product Managers, and Engineers to design solutions that solve complex problems while making both the customers and internal teams more efficient. Your work will be critical in advancing the company's vision to create lovable and scalable products.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about design, user experience, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be a vocal advocate for both the customers and users, focusing on a holistic approach to design that prioritizes inclusivity, accessibility, and quality.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will: Collaborate with Services Teams : Engage with our Services Teams to deeply understand customer and user needs. Design products and workflows that unlock their potential and enhance the customer experience. Design and Deliver : Articulate design challenges and success metrics, gaining alignment with stakeholders on your approach. Take personal ownership of the design process and results. Mentor and Collaborate : Work closely with other Product Designers, providing constructive and motivating feedback to improve the quality of their work and their skillsets. Actively participate in design critiques to ensure design consistency across Twilio products. Work in Agile Environment : Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management teams in an agile setting to deliver effective and efficient solutions for critical customer problems. Advocate for Best Practices : Advocate for efficient processes, higher standards, and a better user experience across the UX organization, ensuring alignment with Twilio's Design System. Feedback and Transparency : Remain open, transparent, and inclusive when sharing work at various stages of the process. Invite diverse feedback and remain humble in the exchange of ideas to foster growth in yourself and your peers. Qualifications
Experience : 3+ years of experience as a UX Designer or Product Designer, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to design user-friendly and impactful products. Human-Centered Design : Experience in using a human-centered design approach and creating intuitive, user-friendly experiences across multiple platforms. Collaboration and Communication : Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve alignment on design solutions. Design System Advocacy : Experience working within or contributing to a Design System. You should be able to advocate for inclusive design principles and standards. Problem Solving : Ability to understand complex customer needs, break down problems, and design solutions that are both innovative and practical. Tools : Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD; knowledge of prototyping and wireframing tools is a plus. Agile Experience : Comfortable working in an agile development environment and collaborating with engineering teams. Empathy : A deep understanding of users' pain points and the ability to design solutions that make their experiences better.
