The Experiential Marketing Assistant will serve as a brand ambassador for the Minnesota Wild at various community events throughout the year. The role involves representing the team with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a positive attitude while engaging with attendees and enhancing their experience. Responsibilities include setting up, managing, and tearing down promotional booths, games, and activities at various events. The Experiential Marketing Assistant will interact with fans and contribute to creating memorable experiences.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Serve as a brand ambassador for the Minnesota Wild at various events throughout the community, including:
Hendrickson Foundation Festival, Saturday, May 31st Grand Old Day, Sunday, June 1st Twin Cities Pride Festival, Saturday, June 28th & Sunday, June 29th Minnesota Wild Block Party Series
Tuesday, July 15th Thursday, July 17th Tuesday, July 22nd Thursday, July 24th Tuesday, July 29th Thursday, July 31st Tuesday, August 5th Thursday, August 7th
Minnesota State Fair, Thursday, August 21st - Monday, September 1st
Set up, manage, and tear down promotional booths, games, and activities at events. Interact with fans, distribute promotional materials, collect participation waivers, and other duties as assigned. Engage with attendees to create a memorable experience. Represent the Minnesota Wild with a positive and professional attitude at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
Some post-secondary education is preferred, not required. Some experience working with college, minor league or professional sports promotions or marketing is preferred, not required. Knowledge & Experience:
Customer service experience preferred. Personal Attributes:
Service oriented and open to being a resource for fans to learn more about the Minnesota Wild and the sport of hockey. Timely, professional, and courteous. Fan-friendly attitude and willing to initiate conversation with fans. Able to work within a team and a service-oriented environment. Work Conditions:
Ability to work 80% of the schedule outlined above in the Events List. Ability and flexibility to work day, early morning and evening hours, weekends. Reliable transportation is required. Lifting requirements - must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing stairs, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc. Benefits offered including Retirement and Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST).
