CAD Designer Job at American Attitudes, LLC in New York

American Attitudes, located in New York in the heart of the garment center, is a fast-paced leading women’s apparel company with multiple kids, junior, missy, extended sized brands, and licensed collaborations. We are seeking a talented and proactive CAD Designer with a strong background in construction, specifically with experience in both sweaters and cut & sew garments. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in design and manufacturing processes and should possess the ability to work within a fast-paced environment while effectively communicating within a team. This is a full-time position with Monday – Thursday in office and Friday remote. Responsibilities: Create detailed CADs and artwork layouts for sweaters and cut & sew garments Collaborate with production/tech teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing capabilities and construction standards Conduct revisions based on feedback from team members and stakeholders Stay current with industry trends to incorporate best practices into designs and process Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in CAD design in the apparel industry Strong knowledge of design/construction with regards to sweater and cut & sew garments Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Outlook, Excel Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills Team player with ability to adapt quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Design, Art/Creative, and Information Technology #J-18808-Ljbffr
