Position:

Rubenstein Public Relations is seeking an Associate Director of Media Relations. Entrepreneurial spirit, superior writing skills and a desire to help companies develop communications marketing strategies are essential.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide media relations counsel to account team members and clients
  • Strategize and execute media relations portion of programs
  • Ability to interpret client needs into actionable, achievable media programs
  • Strong knowledge of traditional as well as “out of the box” marketing tactics
  • Be creative and strategic in the development of programs designed to garner media attention
  • Continue to build relationships with journalists and press contacts on behalf of the
  • agency, not necessarily tied to specific campaigns
  • Liaising with account teams and clients to provide project updates in a timely manner


Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of PR agency experience
  • Strong media contacts and excellent writing skills
  • Proven ability to create media plans from concept and follow through to placement
  • Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional communications programs and delivering on set targets
