MEP CAD Designer

Position
Our San Jose, CA office is looking for a full-time MEP CAD Designer.
This is NOT a remote opportunity . This is an on-site position at our San Jose office!
Job Description
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Designer will be assisting engineers in the design process
- Working with Engineers to generate complete construction drawings per company standards
- Setting up projects and file systems
- Coordinating with multiple disciplines
- Verification and measurements of field conditions
Qualifications
- Associate’s or technical Degree in drafting/design/Bachelors or be currently enrolled in a program
- High level of proficiency AutoCAD 2018 or newer. Revit is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Construction experience highly desirable
- Extremely high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time-management skills and an ability to prioritize and execution of requests effectively
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- High energy, ability to multi-task, work independently, and assumes ownership of assignments
- Ability to work with different personalities and varying levels of experience in the firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Revu BlueBeam
