We are seeking a growth-centric, excellence-focused Brand & Marketing Partnerships Director to join our team. Ideal candidates will be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Texas Headquarters in Arlington, New York City office, or Scottsdale, AZ office (typically onsite Tues/Wed/Thurs and remote Mon/Fri).


Job Purpose

The Brand & Marketing Partnerships Director oversees and executes brand campaigns with external partners to enhance brand visibility and increase revenue. This role involves direct collaboration with partner stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of partnership assets and marketing programs. The specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partner relationships and will contribute to larger partnership accounts, ensuring alignment and flawless execution of campaigns and promotions. The position requires tracking performance metrics and providing insights for future activities, along with supporting various marketing functions and events.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and update marketing materials to assist sales teams across the organization, including Ad Sales and Distribution.
  • Assist partners in planning, execution, and follow up with contracted Media Buys.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute innovative marketing campaigns with partners to drive brand awareness, engagement and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with various departments, such as Creative and Product, to ensure alignment with company objectives and deliver a seamless execution.
  • Oversee high-profile brand partnerships and cultivate long-term relationships with key external partners.
  • Identify and engage with new brand partners to further expand brand presence and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Ensure all partnerships are aligned with Great American Media’s brand strategy and messaging, maintaining consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Oversee the execution of strategic brand initiatives such as fan events, podcasts, partnership campaigns, etc.
  • Lead contact and logistics coordinator for special events/conferences as determined by the leadership team.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of partnership initiatives and campaigns, providing regular performance reports and actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Maintain strategic business presentations for corporate partnerships and investors.
  • Monitor the current marketplace, ratings, and advertising trends to make informed decisions on a day-to-day basis.
  • Assist with strategic initiates like podcasts and Pure Flix Premium.
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned by the executive leadership team.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong sales and affiliate management background.
  • 2 years’ experience executing marketing campaigns and tactical project plan deliverables.
  • 2 years’ experience in Affiliate / Performance Marketing with a focus on high-volume, high-touch affiliate relationships and direct response campaigns (CPA, CPL).
  • An acute understanding of core online advertising revenue models required (CPM, CPC, CPA).
  • Knowledge of online performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of publisher business models as it relates to the media industry.
  • Familiarity with program management concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively over the phone, through email, and in writing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
  • Adept at prioritization of tasks and workload.


Working Conditions

This position is in an office environment and will require some travel. The hybrid schedule typically consists of being onsite Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and remote Monday/Friday.


Depending on the candidate’s location, we may consider a fully remote position.
