Job Description
Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a digital designer for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC! This position is a long-term hybrid contract to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain WordPress websites, including themes, templates, and plugins.
• Customize WordPress themes in line with brand guidelines and user experience best practices.
• Enhance website performance, security, and SEO, and resolve related issues.
• Develop and manage SharePoint sites, pages, and workflows to improve business processes.
• Customize SharePoint using web parts, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Handle SharePoint permissions, security, and content organization.
• Collaborate closely with IT, marketing, and business teams to comprehend and fulfill digital requirements.
• Ensure the seamless integration between WordPress and SharePoint where necessary.
• Stay abreast of the latest WordPress, SharePoint, and web development best practices.
• Offer training and support to internal teams on the use and management of digital platforms.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
• Demonstrated ability to create compelling advertisements and banner ads
• Proven experience in designing and producing artwork for various platforms
• Strong knowledge and understanding of brand awareness strategies
• Experience in designing brochures and other print materials
• Expertise in WordPress, including development, site creation, and theme customization
• Proficiency in SharePoint, including design and development
• Previous experience in the banking or finance industry would be advantageous
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• A portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts and highly creative work.
