Do you love visual storytelling? Do your stories evoke consumers’ emotions and engage them during their respective paths to purchase? We are looking for an incredible Marketing Content Producer to elevate our brand and produce top-level creative deliverables. You will assist your Marketing and Creative counterparts in building content aligned with Brand strategies to employ in digital, print, and social channels. Our audience is teens and early twenties; they crave emotion, relevant content trends, and fun. And we intend to give ‘em what they want.


This role has many facets, but its core is the relevant tracking, editing, organizing, and executing Brand-right stories in Photo and Video that will be captured and executed by the Creative team under the guidance of the Creative Director. Stories will be brought to life via monthly photoshoots, led by the Creative Director, to deliver top notch content for you to edit, in tandem with our in-house designers to embody the original vision. This role relies heavily on editing skills in photo and video; mostly, but not limited to: working in Capture One to make selects, apply treatments, retouch, and export, intaking of raw video files and creating engaging final video across our channels (paid and organic), creativity to experiment and develop engaging media formats (GIF, parallaxes, etc.), file and DAM organization, and cross-functional communication, resulting in powerful consistent Creative to elevate our Brand image and reliably deliver content at the highest level, while looking for opportunities to improve or make alterations to any existing processes for efficiency or betterment along the way.


As a member of Tillys Creative team, this role works in close collaboration with internal Marketing team and parallel Managers under the guidance of the Art Director and Creative Director. Must be able to create and interpret creative briefs and manage multiple projects from concept through completion. This role must be knowledgeable and have previous experience developing creative assets for a variety of digital and print media formats, and cross-channel content (web, social, and mobile). This position requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to deliver compelling and unique creative stories that are cohesive to the Tillys Brand image.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become our gatekeeper for all things Photo and Video from our Campaign Photoshoots
  • Be the expert on our Brand image and creative content with powerful continuity
  • Organize and manage post-productions deliverables from Campaign shoots
  • Cull and make selects on Photoshoot imagery, aligned with our Scene Layouts
  • Edit, color, and retouch (when needed) all Photoshoot images
  • Load and deliver final images to cross-functional teams
  • Create engaging videos from Campaign shoots for all platforms
  • Collaborate in storyboarding and concept development with the Creative team, image style/treatment and technique
  • Translate creative briefs, asking clarifying questions to ensure creative fit based on assignment objectives
  • Cross-functional collaboration with external agencies and more when needed
  • Understand brand business objectives and strategies to further interpret creative briefs; Ensure creative deliverables meet or exceed expectations
  • Collaborate with social media manager, internal Creative team, and Creative Leads closely on project deliverables
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand and deliver on business objectives and effectively receive feedback
  • Contribute to department operations, tracking jobs and inputs/outputs in department workflow management tool
  • See the future : be able to stay in tune with Creative trends and present ideas for us to be leaders in the Lifestyle Retail market in forms of media formats, trends, or Ai tools


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to meet fast paced deadlines
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications for design/photography/videography (PS, LR, PR)
  • Proficiency in Capture One
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and respective calendars
  • Experience with Figma, Canva, and Project Management software
  • Experience with DSLR/mirrorless, cinema cameras, and lighting gear preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with proven ability to multi-task


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-7 years Content Production or Management experience for social media, digital, and print, in fast-paced environment
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite on the Mac platform is required – Includes Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere, After Effects, InDesign and Audio Software
  • Well-versed in Instagram, TikTok and YouTube strategies
  • Provide links/URL featuring on-line portfolio of samples of work
