This role involves managing media planning, buying, and optimization across various channels, including traditional and digital media. What you'll do:
- Oversee the end-to-end process of digital media planning and buying, managing complex campaigns encompassing Display, Native, Video, OTT/CTV, Streaming Audio, ensuring effective campaign execution and delivery.
- Assist with paid digital media campaign execution including, but not limited to, streaming video, streaming music and outdoor billboards.
- Ability to fully understand CTV/OTT reporting and implement key strategy changes to improve KPI performance.
- Comprehensive understanding of all digital CTV/OTT providers.
- Develop and implement media strategies aligned with the client's or agency's marketing objectives, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience through the most appropriate channels.
- Negotiate spot and national buys in the scatter marketplace and on an annual/quarterly basis.
- Performing various calculations to determine projected response levels, call volumes and audience delivery.
- Conferring with the other members of the media team to meet client marketing goals and objectives.
- Constructing post-buy analyses to determine actual delivery of the schedule - from both a Direct Response and Awareness basis.
- Inputting and maintaining daily/weekly schedules.
- Extensive client communication, presenting and reporting responsibilities on a weekly basis will be required.
- Handling billing discrepancies with vendors.
- Develop media plans through CPP/CPM analysis, analysis of qualitative data and historical performance resulting in the development of planning flowcharts and recommendations.
- Develop, execute, and manage added value programs.
- Maintain client flowcharts with account team regarding media deliverables.
- Manage monthly billing (reporting and resolution) with accounting team.
- Conduct post analysis.
- Ongoing media planning and analysis of campaign results.
- 3+ years of experience in media planning and buying, with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
- Knowledge of Nielsen data for local TV/radio/Cable.
- A passion and understanding of both data driven CTV/OTT advertising and the streaming marketplace.
- Working knowledge of Analytics/GA4, Hulu, Roku, Spotify, Pandora and other streaming platforms.
- Some analytical media planning and reporting preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strata and Core experience preferred.
- Willingness to learn new platforms, technologies, and attribution modeling.
- Ability to interact with upper-level management and clients.
- Solid writing and excellent presentation skills.
- Should be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and be able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Be enthusiastic and display proactive thinking.
- Experience buying local markets and national media is preferred.
