Technical Designer
for
Woven & Knits
to join their team on a temp project.
Responsibilities: Manage fittings. Ensure the company quality standards are competitive thru market assessment and evaluation. Create fit comments - attend all fittings Review tech packs. Advise Design of needed changes for technical accuracy and suggest options to achieve aesthetic intent and ensure design elements are consistent across collections. Provide technical insight into new silhouette development. Follow the development and production cycle/timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
Requirements: 4-5+ years of
working experience
in Technical Design, Wovens & Knits. Extensive knowledge of garment construction Technical fluency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, Lectra, Gerber. Capable of maintaining organization while handling multiple projects & priorities Strong time management & problem-solving skills
