What You'll Do: As the Senior Director, Corporate Communications, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and amplifying the voice of LogicMonitor while strengthening our brand presence. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead strategic communications efforts to support both company goals and executive spokesperson visibility. You’ll own company-level messaging, executive communications, press and media strategy and execution, executive presentation development, and thought leadership across a range of platforms and channels. The right candidate will have a deep understanding of: Company-level and Brand-building communications Executive communications Press relations, media and social media This highly visible and strategic role will work as a close collaborator with the entire executive team, work in close alignment with the Marketing organization, and be a direct report to the CEO. Here's a closer look at this key role: Craft strategic messaging and narratives for the CEO to communicate the company’s vision, strategy, and thought leadership effectively. Develop speeches, presentations, and scripts for the CEO's external engagements, such as press briefings, interviews, panels, and keynote speeches. Collaborate closely with the CEO to prepare for major internal events, including company-wide all-hands meetings, sales kickoffs, company kickoffs, and other high-impact events. Crisis communications playbook and management. Partner with the PR team to prepare the CEO and other executives for press briefings, interviews, and media appearances, including message development and media training. Write and manage external-facing content such as op-eds, blogs, bylines, and social media posts to amplify the CEO’s thought leadership and company initiatives. Build a consistent cadence of communications that strengthens the CEO’s presence as a respected voice in the industry. Manage the Company’s organic social media as well as the CEO’s social media presence, including developing a content calendar, crafting posts, and engaging with the community. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to create timely and relevant content. Further prepare messages for other members of the executive team for major company announcements to further amplify the messages to market. Brand Elevation and Thought Leadership: Develop a comprehensive strategy to position the company as a category leader in AI, as well as a thought leader in the B2B SaaS space through content, public speaking engagements, and partnerships. A specific focus on spokesperson development and specifically supporting executive communications and messaging for the CEO will be a core focus of the role. Partner with the CMO to ensure strategic alignment of company-level communications with broader marketing messaging and campaigns. Lead cohesive brand activation plans including brand advertising, product innovation campaigns, always-on marketing activities, and brand partnerships, driving consistent experiences across all audience touchpoints. Internal Communications: Responsible for leading internal communications strategy, messages, and delivery for engaging company employees to prepare the CEO for key internal moments, ensuring consistent and inspiring communication. Develop presentations and talking points for critical internal events, fostering transparency and alignment across the organization. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively across the company and executive team to ensure consistency of messaging across all communication channels and audiences. Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing guidance on messaging and communication best practices. What You'll Need: Bachelor’s degree preferred 15+ years of experience in corporate and/or executive communications, brand and strategic messaging, particularly in category creation or reaching new markets or audiences. Experience in B2B SaaS and AI also required, including fluency in more technical context and ability to synthesize to a business level. Proven experience working directly with C-level executives on high-stakes communications. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a particular strength in storytelling. Strong presentation development skills, with an ability to simplify complex ideas into clear and impactful visuals and narratives. Deep understanding of media relations and social media platforms, especially LinkedIn. A strategic thinker with a creative mindset and impeccable attention to detail, with executive presence and the ability to communicate a compelling vision, values, and strategy for company and executive success. Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Collaborative and adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills to build trust and alignment across teams. Writing and presentation samples will be required. Experience leveraging GenAI to accelerate content development and creation.
