Head of Digital Community & Brand Partnerships - DTC Brands

United States (Hybrid with some travel required)
$70,000 - $120,000 (Based on experience + performance-based bonuses)

Reports To: Marketing Director
Direct Reports: Social Media Assistants, YouTube Content Strategist
Team Size: Around 15

Position Overview

We're looking for a Head of Digital Community & Brand Partnerships with proven experience scaling both organic social media channels and influencer programs specifically for DTC e-commerce consumer product brands.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own the organic social media and influencer marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, audience growth, and revenue. The ideal candidate has successfully grown large social media followings, launched high-end social content, and built strong influencer and brand partnerships.

You'll lead a team of 15, overseeing all organic social initiatives across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms. If you've built and scaled social media and influencer marketing for a DTC brand, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Organic Social Media Growth & Execution
  • Develop and execute a growth-focused organic social media strategy for DTC e-commerce brands.
  • Scale social media followers and engagement on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest.
  • Oversee high-quality content creation, ensuring strong visual branding and messaging.
  • Leverage UGC (user-generated content), short-form video, and storytelling to increase reach and engagement.
  • Capitalize on trends, viral moments, and cultural conversations to maximize organic visibility.
  • Work with internal teams to repurpose top-performing content across email, SMS, paid media, and website.
  • Lead and mentor Social Media Assistants to drive execution and consistency.
Influencer, Affiliate & Ambassador Marketing
  • Build and scale a high-impact influencer, affiliate, and ambassador marketing program.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage influencers, affiliates, and brand ambassadors to drive DTC sales and brand awareness.
  • Negotiate partnerships, oversee contracts, and track performance to maximize ROI.
  • Execute UGC-driven influencer campaigns that fuel both organic and paid marketing.
  • Track and optimize influencer-generated revenue to improve results.
Strategic Brand Partnerships & Collaborations
  • Identify and execute brand collaborations, giveaways, and co-branded activations.
  • Develop cross-promotional campaigns that expand reach and drive engagement.
  • Build strategic relationships with complementary DTC brands, media partners, and influencers.
Community Growth & Engagement
  • Develop a strong community strategy to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Launch and manage exclusive brand communities (Facebook Groups, Discord, VIP memberships).
  • Plan and execute social-first campaigns, live shopping events, and interactive brand activations.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
  • Own all social media and influencer marketing KPIs, including follower growth, engagement, and influencer-driven revenue.
  • Utilize analytics tools (Emplifi, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Shopify, TikTok Creator Marketplace, GRIN) to track, test, and optimize strategies.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging social innovations.
  • Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to leadership.

Must-Have Experience

  • Proven track record of growing social media audiences substantially for DTC e-commerce consumer product brands.
  • Deep expertise in influencer marketing, including recruiting, managing, and scaling influencer partnerships.
  • Experience creating and executing high-quality content strategies that elevate social media presence.
  • Hands-on experience with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring social media and influencer teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in tracking performance, optimizing content, and scaling engagement.
