Scope / Hours per week: Freelance to potential Full-Time, 40 hours per week

On-Site requirement: 5 days per week on-site (not flexible)

Rate and potential Salary if converted: $50-$55 per hour / $110-$125K

Timeline for hire: 1-2 in-person interviews, ideally starting by end of March.


Job Description:

Our client in the CPG / jewelry space is seeking an Associate Creative Director to join its in-house creative team in Cranston, RI. The role will be 5 days per week on-site. While it starts off freelance, there is strong potential for this role to transition to Full-Time!

The Associate Creative Director will spearhead the creation and implementation of design concepts for digital marketing assets, including emails, websites, digital advertising, and social media. This position demands both hands-on design work and art direction, as well as supervising a team of designers and art directors to ensure consistent and engaging brand storytelling. The ideal candidate should possess a strong creative vision, the ability to lead campaigns across various customer touchpoints, and a passion for enhancing brand experiences through digital design.


Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the ideation / collaboration of creative projects within the team to delivery captivating art direction, design, and overall creative work that meets deadlines, budgets, and strategic goals.
  • Allocate resources appropriately to projects, understanding work in the pipeline and anticipating needs and requests.
  • Recruit, train and coach direct reports to support and foster their individual development.
  • Work closely with and collaborate cross functionally, specifically with Marketing and Merchandizing partners.
  • Play leadership role in facilitating trend insights, and innovation to the broader team.


Qualifications:

  • Over 6 years of industry experience, including 3+ years as an Art Director leading a team
  • Expertise in all aspects of digital branding and digital creative
  • Proven experience working with photographers and directing still life, beauty, jewelry, or similar photoshoots
  • Capable of being hands-on in design while also handling conceptual and big-picture responsibilities
  • Preferable experience in the luxury, fashion, or beauty industries
  • A strong drive for innovation and a proactive approach to staying informed about trends and emerging technologies
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a consistent commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Outstanding organizational skills, naturally collaborative, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
