Overview

The Manager of Quality Assurance should have a strong passion for retail and a keen eye for content and creative details, leading a team of QA professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring flawless execution across high-impact retail merchandising projects. This role serves as a strategic partner between clients and agency teams, leading quality control in a program of significant scale, volume, and

complexity.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with project management, creative, and product on teams, working with both local and nearshore resources to maintain quality, consistency, and efficiency in execution. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a blue-chip client, driving quality

assurance best practices in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.

Candidates must be located in the U.S. (East Coast preferred or willing to work Eastern Time hours).

Responsibilities • Champion QA Excellence - Advocate for the QA team's critical role in ensuring quality deliverables. Communicate QA standards to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive

alignment and adherence to QA processes. • Ensure Flawless Planogram Execution - Act as the final checkpoint to validate that all planograms are accurately implemented and maintained, ensuring they meet strict specifications such as consistency, visual indicators, spacing, sizing, product accuracy, and volume accuracy. Deliver all planograms on time-no exceptions-while exceeding client expectations. • Oversee End-to-End Testing & Timeline Management - Lead quality assurance initiatives, managing testing workflows, resources, and schedules to guarantee the on-time delivery of high-quality planograms and retail documentation. • Refine QA Policies & Procedures - Develop and continuously enhance QA policies and best practices to align with industry standards and organizational goals. Work closely with QA leadership to update documentation as processes evolve.• Drive Proactive Communication & Issue Resolution - Keep project management informed of progress, dependencies, and challenges. Collaborate across teams to mitigate risks and maintain project timelines. • Manage Defect Documentation & Resolution - Ensure thorough and structured documentation of defects, working with cross-functional teams to track and resolve issues effectively. • Test Brand & Accessibility Standards - Validate that deliverables adhere to brand guidelines and WebContent Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to ensure compliance across various types of retail

documentation. • Collaborate with Distributed Teams - Work effectively with internationally distributed teams across disciplines and time zones, ensuring seamless execution of retail merchandising initiatives. • Demonstrate Ownership & Accountability - Take initiative with self-directed task management ensuring accountability for project deliverables and quality. • Foster a Knowledge-Sharing Culture - Mentor and guide QA analysts, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting best practices for troubleshooting and quality assurance methodologies.

Qualifications • 7+ years of hands-on experience in quality assurance / quality control for retail projects, with a focus

on planogram development and product lifecycle changes. • 2+ years of QA leadership experience including team management and strategic planning. • Proven ability to lead QA initiatives, including project leadership, end-to-end testing oversight, resource allocation, and timeline management to ensure high-quality deliverables. • Experience managing distributed teams across multiple :me zones, including both local and nearshore resources. • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with direct experience collaborating with clients and cross-functional leadership. • Technical proficiency in InDesign or similar digital publishing software. • Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira or equivalent. • Strong adaptability in fast-paced environments, capable of working independently and within a larger team. • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. • Expertise in defect management and reporting, ensuring high-quality issue tracking and resolution. • Process Improvement Mindset - Continuously seeks ways to enhance workflows for increased agility and quality. • Strongly preferred: Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and accessibility testing. • Nice to Have: Experience with VectorWorks, CAD software, or other 2D/3D rendering tools.

Compensation Range: $87,210 - $137,195/yearly. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
