We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates: A deep understanding of foundations, high-net-worth donors, and corporate philanthropy, along with a proven track record in successful media relations and PR campaigns. Expertise in developing and implementing strategic communications plans for consistent and effective audience engagement year-round. Creativity in identifying opportunities to enhance Global Impact Ventures' (GIV) brand visibility through media and impactful content. Strong collaboration with marketing and communications teams to align publicity efforts with broader campaigns and brand messaging across GIV. Knowledge of relational marketing strategies to support GIV business development and client retention. Experience in developing and launching special marketing campaigns that engage audiences and expand reach. Leadership skills, including collaboration with senior leadership and overseeing direct reports to achieve organizational goals. Minimum Qualifications: Qualifying for this role means you have a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, philanthropic studies, or a related field, along with 7+ years of experience in marketing and communications, including at least 3 years in a senior management or leadership role. You possess a deep understanding of foundations, high-net-worth donors, and corporate philanthropy, along with a proven track record in successful media relations and PR campaigns. You have demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies to grow revenue, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and a talent for storytelling and creating engaging content. Strong project management skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with leadership, team members, and subject-matter experts are key. Familiarity with WordPress, MailChimp, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Ads, and Salesforce is a plus. About Global Impact Global Impact works on charitable ventures to inspire greater giving. charity.org . Working at Global Impact Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for more than one year. Visa sponsorship is not available. This is a full-time position that has the potential to be fully remote. Local employees are in a hybrid work model, with 1-4 days per month in our Washington, DC headquarters office. Global Impact encourages ALL interested candidates to apply for this position. The salary range is $80,000 - 90,000 depending on the experience you have. On top of the competitive salary that we are offering, you will receive 16 paid holidays and 25 paid days off.
