Job Description

In this role, you will drive enhancements in the efficiency and effectiveness of our Commercial team by providing strategic support, overseeing processes, and leveraging data-driven insights. Your valuable contributions will play a pivotal role in elevating our overall sales performance, streamlining operations, and propelling Vialto towards the achievement of its revenue targets.

Responsibilities for this position include:

Writing & editing

  • Skilled at translating technical and business jargon into concise and crisp sales messaging.
  • Performs content search in existing proposals and source materials.
  • Works with business stakeholders to develop and draft new content.
  • Perform copy/edit activities and finalizes proposals and supplementary materials.
  • Helps with development and maintenance of proposal templates.
  • Builds framework response documents for formal RFP requests as well as non-solicited proposals/executive summaries and other pursuit-related documents.
  • Identifies and corrects formatting errors and inconsistencies in pursuit documents.

Collaboration & coordination

  • Coordinates and works with stakeholders in developing elements of the proposal.
  • Works closely with opportunity teams to finalize pursuit documents and coordinate final document production.
  • Deals directly with internal clients to ensure timely delivery of documents.
  • Collaborates with graphic designer to translate and develop proposal content into graphic elements.

Other

  • Provides some support with editing and formatting existing graphics.
  • Champions and implements Vialto verbal and visual brand.
  • Supports and contributes to the building of content library.
  • Acts as the “point person” for questions related to proposal design, proposal outline and template layout.
  • Coordinate research requests for client-specific pursuits.
  • Gather industry and technical qualification content from Marketing resources.
  • Help coordinate bid/no bid meetings and status calls.
  • Help coordinate win/loss debrief meetings, as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in a corporate environment writing proposals.
  • Prior work experience as a proposal writer/editor is required.
  • Superior knowledge of Google suite and MS Office suite (with emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Sharepoint).
  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to produce high quality work while facing competing priorities and strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize activities, multi-task, and stay focused in a dynamic, fast-paced and ever-changing environment, including working with and managing expectations of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, speed, and the ability to handle ambiguity.
  • Post-secondary education.

Additional Information

  • This is a Full-time, Fixed-term, remote position.
  • Compensation: $98,500 - $161,900 USD and $74,300 - $135,000 CAD. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.
