ABOUT STUDIO RM

Since 2010, we’ve continued to discover and collaborate with new and established artists that we respect and admire from around the world. Through our trusted relationships and expertise, we offer a high-end, artistic and curated approach; partnering artists and brands with our team across our studios in London, New York and Paris.

Together, we create beautiful work in an environment that is both welcoming and inclusive.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly experienced and confident Lead Producer to take the lead on motion projects in our NYC studio. This role sits at the heart of our motion work — responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of projects, building strong client relationships, and ensuring operational and creative excellence on every job.

You’ll be the senior figure driving motion post-production in NYC— you’ll set the pace on projects, guide teams with clarity and calm, and ensure excellence in delivery from start to finish. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a leadership role, leads by example, and takes ownership of delivering outstanding work with precision, creativity, and confidence.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in post-production workflows across editing, color grading, finishing, and VFX, and is comfortable being both hands-on and a senior leader within the team. You’ll be a key player in driving forward our motion work while supporting a collaborative studio culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, directors, agencies, and internal teams
  • Work closely with colorists, editors, and VFX artists to coordinate resources and project timelines

  • Troubleshoot issues and problem-solve quickly and calmly to keep projects on track
  • Be the senior presence and point of contact for motion jobs in NYC
  • Ensure all projects meet creative, technical, and operational standards
  • Collaborate with our global teams in London and Paris on multi-office projects or shared talent
  • Maintain strong oversight of project costs and financial tracking

REQUIREMENTS

  • 7–10+ years experience in post-production, with a focus on motion and moving image
  • Strong understanding of workflows across editing, grading, finishing, and VFX
  • Highly organised, solutions-oriented, and confident managing multiple workstreams
  • Calm under pressure and able to lead with clarity and warmth
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Comfortable in a senior position, but not hierarchical or rigid in working style
  • Familiarity with the fashion, beauty, luxury and culture space is beneficial

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Proactive on projects and to the growth of the studio
  • Respectful and supportive to the team, having a collaborative mind-set
  • Being flexible and adaptive to the ever-changing needs of the industry
  • Having a warm, personable manner with a high delivery focus
  • Interested and engaged with film & wider creative culture

HOW WE LOOK AFTER YOU:

  • 15 Days PTO
  • Approved Studio Observance of Public Holidays, including Thanksgiving & Christmas break
  • Health & Dental Insurance Policies
  • 401k (after one-year)
