Technical Writer – Ohio – Contract - Pharmaceutical

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Writer to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and draft critical project documents, including project delivery strategies, procurement plans, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and engineering documents.
2. Take ownership of the writing process for all technical and engineering-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
3. Ensure all documents follow the established writing style and format specific to the organization or project.
4. Write and maintain the Basis of Design and Basis of Schedule documents, ensuring they are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with project goals.
5. Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to gather input and ensure all technical details are correctly documented in procurement plans and RFPs.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
2. Experience in technical writing or document control, preferably within engineering, construction, or related industries.
3. Strong understanding of engineering documents, including procurement plans, RFPs, Basis of Design, and Basis of Schedule.
4. Proven ability to develop, write, and manage technical documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Experience with document control systems and managing document workflows, including version control, review, and approval processes.
