Meta is hiring: Content Engineer, GenAI in Menlo Park

GenAI Content Engineering is a horizontal function supporting initiatives across the broader GenAI Org and is seeking an experienced content manager to join the team. GenAI Content Engineering supports products through quality control, prompt engineering, fine tuning and creative execution. The team is composed of content experts with diverse backgrounds in journalism, social media, creative storytelling, writing, editing, visual arts, film & TV production and more. Content Engineers partner closely with technical teams to prompt engineer, build and ship products from lab to production, across different modalities and mediums. They serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders working across AI on priority product initiatives, and aim to build products and creative tools that entertain, inform and delight. Responsibilities

1. Deliver completion of high-quality editorial work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
2. Develop guidelines and build measurement frameworks that set quality standards for products and features.
3. Generate content-focused insights that both fuel ideation and product strategy.
4. Lead through influence and collaboration within GenAI Content Engineering team and relevant stakeholders.
5. Identify processes and opportunities to influence through scale.

Minimum Qualifications

1. 8+ years of experience with digital content strategy, journalism, production, linguistics and relevant skills.
2. 1+ years working with GenAI products, prompt engineering, annotation, and/or content labeling and analysis.
3. A demonstrated background in linguistics, phonetics, or a related field, with an extensive understanding of the complexities of human speech and language.
4. Expertise in developing and implementing high-quality speech datasets, annotations, and evaluation metrics that drive the training and improvement of speech recognition and generation models.
5. Experience with speech data collection, transcription, and annotation.
6. Experience working independently and autonomously.
7. Previous experience collaborating with product and technical teams.
8. Proven knowledge of industry trends and news.
9. Experience leading and collaborating on XFN projects to build products, respond to urgent needs, preempt issues and address concerns in collaborative and timely fashion.
10. Experience building products related to diverse communities and niche topics.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience working with product teams or programs (or other equivalent fields) from roadmapping through delivery.
2. Familiarity with AP Style Writing.

US$159,000/year to US$223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
