Full-time, 12 month Position Summary: The Marketing Specialist works within the Office of Marketing and Public Relations, and its purpose is to execute comprehensive marketing campaigns that enhance the visibility and reputation of the College. Through innovative strategies, creative content creation, and effective communication, the Marketing Specialist engages with diverse audiences, attracts prospective students, fosters community partnerships, and ultimately contributes to the continued growth and success of the institution. By leveraging data-driven insights and staying abreast of industry trends, this integral team member is committed to promoting the College as a premier educational destination while embodying its values and mission. Key Responsibilities: Create content for GPS pertaining to email, social media, print, web, press and marketing materials. Ensure brand consistency throughout all publications in relation to graduate studies. Produce creative and written content for mass/promotional emails, social media, print, web, and other marketing materials. Conduct market research to find answers regarding consumer behaviors, habits, and trends. Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns, focusing on graduate and professional studies (GPS) and assisting with other areas when/as needed. Collaborate with the GPS and marketing team, and other campus partners to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts. Plan and execute initiatives to reach the designated target audience segments through appropriate channels. Analyze market data to help shape future marketing strategies. Manage internal project requests and multiple deadlines simultaneously. Work with the Web Systems Specialist to monitor, maintain, and continually improve the GPS website and social media communications. Monitor social media and provide reports on marketing strategies on all digital platforms. Report detailed and accurate analytics. Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Public Relations to facilitate media relations for GPS. Ensure brand consistency throughout all marketing publications including branding, aesthetic, and voice. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field Three years of experience in marketing or graphic design, preferred Thorough understanding of marketing tactics (including those used in traditional and digital marketing such as SEO, search engine marketing, social media, and programmatic advertising, etc.) and market research methods Knowledge of or certification in Google AdWords and Analytics (preferred) Experience with video creation and editing software, preferred Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and CRM tools Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role Why Join Culver-Stockton College?
