Job Details

We are searching for a dynamic and highly skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our expanding team in the energy industry. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in audio-visual technology. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of audio-visual equipment including cameras, projectors, mounts, screens, cables, and speakers. Moreover, proficiency in software applications like Appspace, Outlook, and Teams is a must. This position requires a highly motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to problem-solve, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and operate audio-visual equipment such as cameras, projectors, mounts, screens, cables, and speakers.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all AV equipment.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement AV solutions for a variety of events and presentations.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary AV equipment and software.
• Ensure all AV systems are fully functional and ready for use during meetings, presentations, and events.
• Train staff on the operation of AV equipment and software applications.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AV technology to recommend improvements and upgrades.
• Provide consultation and advice on AV solutions, considering both technical feasibility and business needs.
• Managing meetings in the conference space setting.
• Video Teleconferencing endpoint management and administration.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Audio Visual Technician or in a similar role.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with AV equipment such as cameras, projectors, mounts, screens, cables, and speakers.
• Proficiency in software applications like Appspace, Outlook, and Teams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest AV technologies and trends.
• Experience in the energy industry is a plus.
