Description
As a member of our Internal Engagement team, your role will be to build strategic vision and innovate on new engagement experiences for our internal teams at Apple Retail. Your focus will be on refining and optimizing our communication, training and content strategy. As Audience and Engagement Strategist, you live and breathe the audience and customer — from behavioral insights to ways of connecting. You are the master of crafting the strategic approach and framing the problem in order to fuel teams to get to the solution. You synthesize large amounts of information to create plans that put the right information in the right place, at the right time, for the right audience—with the ultimate goal of aiding each team members ability to provide significant and relevant experiences for our customers. To be successful, you should have a deep knowledge of current retail trends, digital media, and the constantly evolving landscape of communications strategies and methods. You must also be a strong collaborator, able to work effectively with a diverse range of teams and partners. RESPONSIBILITIES Employee Experience Optimization: Discover and design employee programs that promote engagement and enhance the overall employee experience. Recommend new tools, technologies and methods that support engagement, collaboration, and recognition. Design Thinking: Design and develop new effective and engaging internal engagement solutions for Apple Retail audiences. Prototyping: Prototype and iterate strategic approaches and incorporate feedback from team members and partners. Project Management: Lead and participate in audience and engagement projects (callouts, UGC, AMAs, and beyond) to video ideation and distribution, platform evolution, and community activities – to encourage an engaged, diverse readership and viewership. Measurement and Feedback: Analyze data and insights from programs and apply adjustments to programs based on feedback to ensure they remain relevant and impactful.
Minimum Qualifications

7+ years in marketing, communications, training, education, and/or internal engagement

Experience interpreting qualitative and quantitative data

Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent experience

Experience with social media standard processes, running social media handles, or working knowledge of SEO concepts to grow engagement

Knowledge of enhancing user experience across platforms and engagement of diverse audiences across channels ie social, digital or print

Experience navigating a complex group of partners. Working cross-functionally within a large business structure.

Exceptional written and verbal communication, social skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.

Strong project management capability with exceptional attention to detail.

Demonstrated passion for Retail, with experience on how to engage people in a human way at the scale of Apple.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
