Summary:
Meta is currently searching for an experienced professional to work in Strategic Sourcing, which is part of Finance. This role is part of the team that is responsible for management of our key strategic production suppliers, contract negotiations, and strategic category development to optimize cost, process, and contracting. This person will work closely with key Marketing partners to meet their fast-paced needs in relation to strategic sourcing strategies and contract/statement of work execution.

Strategic Sourcing Manager - Marketing Responsibilities:
Lead, develop and manage category strategies and roadmaps for the Marketing Production category in support of the business’ short-term and long-term plans
Build and strengthen cross functional partner relationships across Marketing, Source-to-Pay, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to identify, develop and deploy best practice supplier management, procurement and category management practices
Leverage industry experts, associations, peers and stakeholders to identify and benchmark best practices
Establish Marketing Preferred Suppliers program and performance KPIs to channel spend appropriately and hold suppliers accountable to performance
Develop healthy and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to strategically manage spend
Analyze spend data, internal requirements, and external supply markets to develop strategic sourcing strategies and plans aligned with the business goals
Manage complex sourcing projects and lead contract negotiations that optimize value to the company
Build/establish strategic relationships with key suppliers
Identify and report key performance metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement ensuring alignment with sourcing plans
Serve as a procurement SME to key stakeholders by identifying their critical business requirements and providing procurement services to meet/exceed their expectations
Perform user and supplier compliance audits as appropriate
Provide regular communication and training on processes and systems
Prepare sourcing documents, contracts, statements of work and related procurement documents
Perform the supplier management function in collaboration with the business
Develop healthy partnerships with Marketing Operations, FP&A, and Legal teams
Negotiate production costs and perform production bid review to ensure costs are inline with the scope and industry
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Advertising, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Finance or Management
6+ years Marketing Sourcing Category Management developing and implementing category plans for Marketing, Creative, and Production services (planning, sourcing, negotiating, contracting and supplier management)
Experience in negotiating a variety of marketing related agreements including but not limited to creative, production, general marketing and advertising professional services, and events
Experience thinking strategically and operationally to solve business challenges
Experience with complex data analysis and making recommendations on sourcing opportunities (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel and Tableau financial modeling)
Highly motivated and proactive individual that has demonstrated the skills necessary in order to navigate and lead projects in a fast-paced environment to achieve high levels of performance and deliver sustainable results to the team
Experience with business case development and executive presence to influence for change that drives efficiency
Experience managing multiple priorities on short timelines across a distributed global team
In-depth understanding of marketing operations, including systems, tools, and the agency landscape
Advanced partnership and relationship building skills to understand stakeholders’ motivations and priorities in order to develop productive working relationships
Experience partnering with Marketing and Production teams to drive efficiency projects with both large global agencies and production companies, as well as smaller boutique firms, and managing those relationships from a Sourcing perspective

Experience as a Producer and/or Production Consultant with understanding of the full production process across all media [live action video, digital websites and applications, print/OOH, animation and photography through localization, delivery and archiving.

Experience developing transformational projects that require high-level change management and influencing with executive leaders.
Public Compensation:
$111,000/year to $162,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
