MZ Wallace is an independent, women-led company launched in New York City in 2000 by Monica Zwirner and Lucy Wallace Eustice. Their collaborative vision is informed by their backgrounds in fashion, design and contemporary art. Their aim from the start was to combine smart, solution- driven design with timeless style to create bags that work for dynamic lives. MZ Wallace is seeking a detail oriented and results driven individualto manage and optimize our digital sales channels. Ensure seamless product launches, optimize the customer journey, and maintain consistency in branding and messaging across all digital touchpoints. This role will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our ecommerce division by managing operations, overseeing content strategy, and supporting international market expansion. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences in a global context. This position reports to the Senior Director of E-Commerce.
Responsibilities Content Management & Strategy
Oversee the creation, organization, and deployment of website content and assets, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. Collaborate with marketing teams to align content strategies with broader business objectives. Manage content calendars, track project progress, and ensure all assets meet quality and branding standards. Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and website performance, using data-driven insights to recommend and implement improvements. Partner with Ecommerce and Marketing teams to craft strategies tailored to international markets, leveraging regional holidays, events, and trends for relevance.
Support Ecommerce Operations & Product Management
Assist in the setup, launch, and quality control of new product offerings to ensure a seamless customer experience. Maintain and execute the visual ecommerce merchandising strategy to align with brand standards and drive sales. Ensure accurate translation and localization of website content to reflect cultural nuances and regional preferences. Support day-to-day operations of the ecommerce division, including website updates and UX research to optimize the customer journey. Stay current on ecommerce trends, risks, opportunities, and the competitive landscape to identify growth areas, including AI and personalization. Maintain awareness of emerging ecommerce technologies and practices to improve processes and drive innovation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or a related role. Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, UX principles, and digital merchandising. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and managing content calendars. Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track performance and inform strategies. Experience with international markets, localization, and translation processes. Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Airtable, Jira, or similar). Understanding of content editing/creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus Multilingual abilities or experience working with translation agencies is a plus. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across departments. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
