The Cabinet Designer collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met. They are responsible for preparing accurate and timely cabinet bids, delivering all necessary information within strict deadlines. This role requires a strong ability to work independently in 20/20 design software while also providing team support. The ideal candidate must have experience working with major production home builders and multifamily projects. Proficiency in Bluebeam software and familiarity with cabinet catalog pricing are essential for success in this role
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design standard plan and options in 20/20 design software
Update Monday.com bid board regularly
Assist with Non-Standard Pricing as needed
Create bid folders.
Print appliance specifications, accessing the Internet
Create trim list and box count
Enter and print list pricing from appropriate software program
Enter pricing into sales spreadsheets
Print layouts and perspectives
Create Master lay-out and options Book for Production Department
Create 2nd book for Design Center if needed
Create Master Packing Slips for production and order processing
Complete Master Changes as necessary & distribute to appropriate parties
Prepare Model Orders
Verify lay-out is correct and contains all pertinent information including custom changes
Prepare order form for various cabinet suppliers. This includes but is not limited to:
Packing slip or Order List
NSO for outside suppliers (ie glass, hardware, etc.)
Custom drawings
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
5+ years' experience working with 20/20
Minimum 5 years experience in cabinet design.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 Platforms
Good interpersonal, written and oral communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational, accuracy and attention to detail skills
In-office position preferred, hybrid schedule available
