Position Summary

The Video Editor at Truly Free, Inc. is responsible for creating high-quality, engaging video content to support marketing initiatives and brand-building efforts. This role demands a creative individual with strong technical skills and an eye for detail, capable of producing content for various platforms, including social media, promotional videos, and customer-facing media. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure that all video content aligns with Truly Free’s brand voice and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Video Production:
    • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for marketing, promotional campaigns, and social media platforms.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to understand content needs and translate them into compelling visual stories.
    • Manage all aspects of video post-production, including color correction, audio editing, visual effects, and final delivery.
  2. Creative Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure video content aligns with overall marketing goals and strategies.
    • Contribute creative ideas for video content that highlights key products, services, and company values.
    • Stay current on trends in video production and integrate fresh techniques to enhance content.
  3. Content Strategy Implementation:
    • Help shape and execute video content strategies to support business objectives, such as increasing brand awareness and engagement.
    • Produce videos for different marketing channels, including social media, websites, and email campaigns, tailored to each platform’s audience and specifications.
  4. Performance Monitoring:
    • Analyze video performance across platforms to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Work with marketing teams to refine strategies based on video engagement metrics and feedback.
  5. Team Development & Collaboration:
    • Provide creative input and feedback to junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, design, and product teams, to ensure videos are aligned with broader business goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in marketing, eCommerce, or SaaS industries.
  • Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and video editing techniques.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in video editing, with a focus on marketing or promotional content.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in editing styles and formats.
  • Knowledge of current video trends, digital media, and video marketing strategies.
  • Experience working with video metrics and using data to refine content strategies.

Work Environment

The Video Editor will work in a fast-paced, creative environment, collaborating with multiple teams. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with flexibility to work remotely and participate in meetings via video calls.
