Graphic Designer Job at XO Taco in New York

The team who brought you XO Taco, Original Grain, Flybird and Hot Stuff sauce is looking for a graphic designer & social media coordinator to join the team. Salary is to be determined based on experience.

The successful candidate will be designing and creating content for a wide variety of things across digital and offline media within current brands and future clients.

1. Content ideation and creation.
2. Daily social media posting and account management.
3. Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
4. Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
5. Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing, printers, and vendors as necessary.
6. Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
7. Communicating with the in-house team about layout and design to present to clients.
8. Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations and brand assets.
9. Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

1. Experience in graphic design and social media management.
2. Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
3. Proficiency with desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign, Quark, Illustrator, Buffer/Facebook Business Suite.
4. A strong eye for visual composition.
5. Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
6. Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
7. Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
8. Experience with computer-aided design.
