Job Summary
SHI One is an exciting team within the Advanced Solutions Group of SHI that is building new digital experiences for our internal users, customers and partners.
The Product Designer translates the wants and needs of stakeholders into visualizations that communicate the art of the possible for Product features and ideas. They manage the product design process by studying customer needs and creating solutions to deliver an appropriate experience. They explore solutions with the Product Management team by conducting experiments and creating minimal viable products and prototypes. They collaborate with Development teams to turn successful solution exploration ideas into Product features that achieve business outcomes.

Responsibilities
Includes but not limited to:
Efficiently create and present compelling visualizations for new product ideas.
Understand our user’s wants, needs, goals, and pain points.
Collaborate with Product Managers to analyze how product ideas tie in with customer needs and preferences.
Ensure the Product is structured to maximize user interaction and meet user needs.
Conduct experiments that help the Product Management team understand customers and better prove whether there is value in solving a particular problem.
Use experiments to quickly prove whether Product hypotheses are true or false.
Create no-code prototypes to learn whether specific user flows or features solve problems for users and allow them to achieve their desired outcomes.
Gather feedback from Product users and customers to improve the design of existing features.
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant Product Design or UX experience.
Strong portfolio showcasing your past work and process
Previous work experience with a fast-paced, agile development process
Required Skills
Expert use of wireframing and prototyping tools for modeling and testing designs.
Expert use of diagramming tools for visualizing system processes, user paths, product roadmaps, etc.
Superb brokering skills: regularly achieve consensus between teams and individuals, with a focus on simplicity.
Creativity in mixing up colors, shapes and design techniques.
Strong business acumen and excellent analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication and strong verbal and written English skills.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
Experience working closely with a team of Product Managers.
Experience using data analytics tools for conducting user research.
Experience with A/B Testing.
Experience with Product Management tools such as ProdPad, Amplitude, Pendo.
Experience establishing and tracking objectives and key results.
Unique Requirements
25% of travel may be required to partner conferences/events or customer sites as needed
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
