Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate educator to teach Drone Technology, Video Game Design, and Video Production at Kimball High School. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of these fields and a passion for inspiring students to explore their creativity and technical skills.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teaches assigned classes in Drone Technology, Video Game Design, and Video Production, utilizing the adopted course of study and appropriate learning activities.
- Develops and implements engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and promote student achievement.
- Creates a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student exploration, collaboration, and innovation.
- Provides individualized and small group instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Evaluates student progress and provides timely feedback to students and parents.
- Maintains accurate records and prepares progress reports.
- Integrates technology effectively into the curriculum to enhance student learning.
- Collaborates with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Stays abreast of current trends and advancements in drone technology, video game design, and video production.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Valid California Teaching Credential Single Subject: Industrial and Technology Education or CTE: Arts, Media, and Entertainment
