Location: The Communications Business Partner is a hybrid position located in Tempe, AZ. Approximately 15% domestic travel (and potentially international travel) is required to support business needs. Your Role We are seeking a Communications Business Partner to support our Semiconductor business within EMD Electronics. You will be responsible for all aspects of communications for the business unit. In your new role, you will align closely with the business, consult and support the leadership team with implementing a strategic communications plan for the year as well as with driving daily business communication activities. The major tasks are trade media relations, social media, innovation communications, executive communications, employee communications, web management (intranet, internet) and key message development. You will be part of the EMD Electronics Communications team closely collaborating with the business, corporate functions as well as other departments of Group Communications. Your passion for technology and science, your ability to work effectively in the team and your drive for successfully implementing communications projects will significantly contribute to the success of EMD Electronics Communications. Who You Are Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field 5+ years of experience in Communications functions or Public Relations in a corporate setting Experience working with executive leaders and/or multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization Industry experience in electronics, aerospace, automotive, computing, healthcare, IT, or a related field Preferred Qualifications: Passion for innovative and technology-driven businesses and understanding of the semiconductor and electronics industries Intercultural experience in a global role or setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to drive change and set internal standards Robust social media skills and improving brand awareness and presence Desire to build strong relationships, positive, resilient Pay Range for this position: $122,000 to $147,800 Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data. Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors.
