In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:
Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters. Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN). Remain in "valid" Visa status as applicable. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester. Federal Work Study student may apply. Under the guidance of the division's Assistant Director of Operations, the PWMTD Social Media Coordinator will create and post on the newly formed division social media accounts. The coordinator will have a role building these new accounts with an eye towards capturing the daily experience of the students in the division, as well as communicating major events occurring throughout the semester.
The coordinator will also work with other coordinators in the individual departments to align content throughout the division, and make sure the right content is disseminated division wide.
Qualifications :
Should have a familiarity of many social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and others. Should have a familiarity with and interest in departmental activities, ensembles, concerts, and student groups. Should have a great creative impulse to invent and execute content that will keep students engaged in division activities and events. Ability to work well with other peers in similar roles. Good communication skills with students, faculty, staff, and outside visiting artists. A willingness to work within the department guidelines, and a positive attitude. Organizational skills, attention to detail, reliability promptness, and careful proofing of any work they produce.
