The System Administrator is responsible for Marion's system and server infrastructure, which consists of
multiple sites. The System Administrator helps provide a sound and secure information technology
environment that supports business and technical requirements, including networking, server
hardware/software maintenance, E-mail, backup solutions, security, cloud computing and policies and
procedures development.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Analyze, implement, support, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and document the server environment • Provide tier 2 end-user support, resolving technical issues, and providing technical assistance for all
operating systems and applications • Providing in-person and remote support through use of the telephone, Microsoft Teams, or remote
access • Maintaining business software applications • Researching, designing, implementing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and evaluating existing
and new operating systems and applications • Ensuring that architecture principles and technology best practices are consistently applied and updated
as appropriate • Conferring with consultants or other system administrators as needed • Testing, validating, and installing operating system and application security/feature updates • Directing third-party vendors who may be involved in diagnosing and correcting system related issues
and assisting with solutions • Supporting management with IT requests and potential new implementations • Supporting Management with tracking of technology hardware for asset controls • Maintaining regular attendance • Adhering to Marion Body Works Inc. Quality Policy
SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS • Assisting in performing software audits • Assist in performing designated backups • Instituting a culture of continual improvement for quality and efficiency • Fostering and promoting an environment of collaboration • Maintaining motivation and enthusiasm through development to drive a high-performance culture • Working knowledge of Marion Body Work's product flow and mfg processes • Performing other tasks as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES • Intune and M365 administration experience required • Thorough knowledge of computer systems, networks, and widely used software applications. • Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows, Apple, and Android operating systems. • Windows Server features: DHCP, DNS, DFSR, GPO, etc. • Knowledge in administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure hosting • Knowledge and understanding of network infrastructure including routing, switching, LAN, WAN,
Firewall, and VPNs • Solid Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices • Proactive in resolving problems and troubleshooting • Excellent analytical abilities • Project and time management skills, with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must have a strong desire to learn and keep abreast of new and emerging technologies
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • Two (2) or more years of related enterprise desktop/system administration experience • Certifications in M365, Intune, Windows Server, Azure, and ITIL are a plus
