We're looking for a
Creative Director, Social (copy)
with
a copywriting background
who has experience with how people activate on the internet. You will join our team dedicated to two of our clients,
an internationally recognized chain of convenience stores , renowned for its network spanning numerous countries, and a national grocery store chain. You will partner with a Creative Director Copywriter to create social-first content, and mentor two midlevel teams creating always on social content and paid social and tentpole moments. Reporting to the ECD, Social, you'll mentor social creative teams and content creators to develop social-first media-coverage-worthy solutions across all social platforms that connect our brands to culture. You'll partner with leadership and will oversee clients while balancing the needs of the team. You'll define feedback on the creative process, quality of briefs, and creative output. You'll stay on top of the latest technologies and trends. You'll identify opportunities to increase the scope of creative work while understanding our client's needs and implementing knowledge of the industry, innovation, and competitors. You'll contribute to new business pitches. You will deliver integrated communications solutions, creative platforms and projects You will realize the strategic direction and creative vision of the agency You will work with the creative department to develop differentiating and original creative concepts and award-winning, media-coverage worthy creative work to affect a client's business to great effect You will ensure the best creative resource is allocated to the correct projects by collaborating with resource and project managers You will take ownership for delivering our client's brand vision Creatively support the use of technology and its applications to solve business problems Champions, defines and feeds back on the creative process and output; quality of briefs, regular reviews, feedback channels, creative quality and collaboration Identifies opportunities to increase depth and breadth of creative work performed for clients, both from an understanding of the clients business and needs, but also from a knowledge of the industry, innovation and competitors Leads the creative team through regular work reviews, check-ins, goal planning and training. Mentor direct reports, creates a supportive culture and encourages people to excel Qualifications
7+ years of experience plus management experience New York-based location required for some weekly in office time Bachelor's degree in advertising, Marketing or related field, required; in lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant field required Social-first thinking; you love the internet and creating in that space We move at the speed of social, make a lot of work, and need clear-eyed leaders. Experience mentoring talent, navigating inter-agency and client relationships Experience organizing others while believing in total accountability Experience leading projects and your team in high-pressure situations Additional Information
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $136,000 - $219,650. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
