Develop, execute and manage comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our business goals. As the primary point of contact for business leaders, this role leads strategic conversations and is responsible for managing the marketing and communications planning process, in addition to end-to-end execution through creative implementation across various communication channels. Build relationships with leaders and diverse cross-functional teams across the organization to help drive the business forward, create desired customer experience, and align with brand. Oversee the entire portfolio of business projects, analyze and propose improvements. Keep leadership and line of business stakeholders apprised. Essential Responsibilities: Build and lead marketing and communications strategy by understanding business goals. Align marketing and communication efforts through strategic planning. Meet business goals and objectives by creating plans that include deliverables such as public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets. Serve as primary point of contact for business leaders and lead strategic conversations. Foster and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Create, communicate, and follow-up on timelines/schedules. Present ideas and deliverables to stakeholders. Obtain estimates for all marketing expenses including printing, mailing, promotional items, online and print advertising. Process invoices, update, and reconcile budget worksheets. Report metrics from marketing campaigns to sales and marketing teams. Conceptualize and lead multi-channel campaigns and ensure the alignment of communications messaging in all channels. Lead day-to-day management and optimization of all assigned projects. Manage content and updates for business partners related to marketing, establish budget guidelines, document processes, and manage scheduling/calendar of all executions. Collaborate and coordinate with multiple departments. Work closely with creative marketing teams to drive initiatives and develop campaign deliverables. Supporting Responsibilities: Uphold brand standards. Maintain professional, service-oriented relationships with customers throughout the organization. Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations. Follow the PacificSource privacy policy and HIPAA laws and regulations concerning confidentiality and security of protected health information. Perform other duties as assigned. SUCCESS PROFILE Work Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in marketing and communications strategy or product management required. Experience in health insurance a plus. Education, Certificates, Licenses:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent years of additional relevant experience in lieu of degree required. Knowledge:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong strategic thinking skills. Skilled in relationship building, and adept at managing deliverables. Strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and platforms are essential. Expert knowledge in MS Office required. Experience in database systems and project management tools. Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat. Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work within a large and diverse team. Ability to learn regulatory requirements specific to healthcare, including Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial lines of business. Work inside in a general office setting with ergonomically configured equipment. Travel is required approximately 5% of the time.
