This is a contract role for an Audio Visual Technician. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining audio visual (AV) equipment including lighting, projectors, and video conferencing systems. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting any AV issues and ensuring the equipment functions smoothly during events and meetings. This is a hybrid role located in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area, allowing for some travel opportunity.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Audio Visual (AV) Systems: Audio, video, lighting, etc.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining AV equipment.
• Experience with projectors and video conferencing systems.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to solve problems quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work in both office and remote settings.
• Experience in the technology or events industry is a plus.
• Relevant certifications or technical training in AV systems.
