Visiting Assistant Professor of Creative Writing and English. Eckerd College invites applications for a one-year, visiting position in Creative Writing and English with a specialization in the teaching of poetry, composition, and literary publishing, beginning August 2025. The successful candidate will teach eight courses per academic year (4-4). Candidates with the ability to teach introductory courses in literature are strongly encouraged. An MFA in Creative Writing, graduate study in and/or experience teaching composition and literature, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching are required. Duties include teaching poetry workshops, first- and second year composition courses, and advising the student literary magazine, Eckerd Review.
