Full-Time Communications Manager Salt Lake City, UT Full-time, Onsite Salary: $72-$75K (plus excellent benefits including 15% of salary to retirement after one year and immediate vesting) A Utah non-profit member organization whose main purpose is representation, advocacy, networking, and providing services for members Develop and execute communications strategies across both internal and external channels which include metrics to measure success of communications Experience with creating branding and using branding in communications # Design, develop and distribute consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all communication touch points Must explore and adopt new channels and technology to meet potential members and optimize association communications Manage (along with publisher) Association’s magazine – gather content, edit content and work with publisher Bi-weekly newsletter to members Able to create professional business communications documents Keep website updated along with Marketing Director Help run Association continuing education program – help plan educational events and programs, work with vendors and other organizations on joint education Exceptional communications skills – writing, speaking and active listening In-depth knowledge of best writing and messaging practices for business Good data analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking skills At least 3-5 years-experience in communications, public relations, marketing, advertising Proficient in all social media platforms. Experience using social media to target marketing messages Strong project management skills Bachelor’s Degree in Communications preferred Expert in Microsoft Office products – particularly Word, Excel, Adobe Experience in website design and/or website maintenance We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are an organization that values diversity.
