???? The Role:
We’re seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator (20-29 hours per week, hours may vary) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll capture and share the heart of Wesley Glen through powerful visual content, social media management, and creative storytelling. You’ll be the driving force behind our online presence, creating compelling posts, engaging with our community, and promoting events that make a difference.
???? What You’ll Do:
✅ Content Creation:
- Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos at events—both on-campus and off-site.
- Showcase the vibrant people and moments that define Wesley Glen’s mission.
✅ Social Media Management:
- Oversee and grow our presence on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Develop and execute a content calendar that boosts engagement and strengthens our brand.
✅ Storytelling & Messaging:
- Craft compelling captions and posts that inspire and connect with our audience.
- Share powerful stories that highlight the impact of our work.
✅ Event Marketing:
- Design eye-catching fliers, brochures, and promotional materials.
- Assist with email campaigns, newsletters, and event announcements.
- Collaborate with vendors and printers for high-quality marketing materials.
✅ Community Engagement:
- Interact with followers, respond to comments, and build meaningful connections.
- Write and submit press releases to highlight events and activities.
- Serve as the press contact during special events.
✅ Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze social media performance.
- Share insights and recommendations to optimize future content.
✅ Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Chief Development Officer and Director of Donor Relations to align content with marketing and fundraising goals.
✨ What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Strong photography and videography skills (portfolio required).
- Excellent writing abilities with a knack for creating engaging, concise content.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools is a plus.
- Must be local and available to attend in-person events and activities.
- Ability to work independently, juggle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Passion for our mission and a desire to make a positive impact.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Experience in nonprofit marketing or community engagement is a plus.
