Company Description
RED STAR OUTDOOR is the largest independent provider of billboard advertising in downtown Chicago, located in River North at the intersection of LaSalle and Chicago Ave. Our office serves as the operational hub for expanding brands' presence through outdoor advertising. We are a 5-person office in River North.

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Administrative Assistant/Social Media Team Member at RED STAR OUTDOOR ADVERTISING. The role involves providing administrative support, handling communications, assisting in day-to-day tasks, and collaborating with the business Social Media. IN OFFICE 9-5 M/F.

The ideal candidate MUST be organized and exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have the ability to take initiative and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role between 3 departments.

Qualifications

  1. Being organized is the most important skill
  2. Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills
  3. Excellent Communication skills
  4. Strong Clerical Skills
  5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  7. Proficient with Adobe programs (Photoshop, InDesign)
  8. Photography/video content creation experience is a plus
  9. Ability to multitask and work well with diverse personalities
  10. A vehicle is a plus (parking spot provided)
  11. Comfort around dogs (team member with four legs in the office)

Responsibilities

  1. Assist multiple departments (Sales, Real Estate, Creative, and Accounting)
  2. Assisting with Social Media; please respond with your expertise level on IG, Tik-Tok, and other platforms
  3. Create and curate marketing materials, proposals, and content (including social media)
  4. Manage social media channels and analyze performance
  5. Assist with office tasks such as maintaining spreadsheets, coordinating calendars, and business/personal travel arrangements
  6. Answer phones and handle ad hoc tasks as needed
  7. Assist sales department with proposals and excel spreadsheets

Salary and Company Benefits

  1. Salary: $48,000 - $52,000 (based on experience)
  2. Full-time Salaried position, Hours 9-5 M-F
  3. Medical Insurance allowance after 90 days
  4. Paid Vacations/Holidays
  5. Paid Sick Time
  6. Summer 60% Fridays

Must be comfortable with dogs, as we have a team member (with 4 legs) that is in the office on a daily basis.
