We are looking for a 3D CAD Rendering Artist located in Davis, CA, to independently transform our CAD files into high-quality, photorealistic 3D renderings. You will be responsible for taking our product designs and turning them into compelling visual representations for marketing, presentations, and our website. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of CAD and rendering tools, and a passion for bringing technical designs to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently create photorealistic 3D renderings from provided CAD files.
  • Apply textures, materials, and lighting to ensure lifelike product visualizations.
  • Ensure that all renderings meet product specifications and design intent.
  • Provide high-quality visuals for marketing, client presentations, and product evaluations.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple rendering projects to meet deadlines.
  • Revise and adjust renderings based on feedback from the team.
  • Maintain organized files and keep project documentation up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, Fusion 360, etc.) and 3D rendering tools (V-Ray, KeyShot, Blender, 3ds Max).
  • A portfolio of past 3D renderings, showcasing your ability to bring CAD designs to life.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail in the application of textures, lighting, and overall composition.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating remotely or with teams to clarify design needs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, where you’ll have the opportunity to wear multiple hats and adapt quickly to evolving needs.
