Currently we are hiring a Design Manager to join our team in Dallas / Atlanta. Flexibility for travel required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and delivery of MEP design plans, ensuring alignment with both construction and client requirements.
- Facilitate seamless coordination between key stakeholders, including clients, specialist designers, subcontractors, and the project team, to ensure smooth design integration.
- Manage critical project milestones, ensuring design quality, implementation accuracy, and coordination of design modifications, while maintaining compliance with contracted consultant scopes and quality assurance standards.
- Lead design meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and resolve technical challenges.
- Oversee the handover process of MEP design packages to the project execution team, ensuring a smooth transition from design to construction.
- Provide ongoing support and communication to the project team, ensuring access to all necessary design documentation for construction activities.
- Assist the BIM team in coordinating the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process to enhance design efficiency and integration.
- Review, assess, and approve construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals to maintain design consistency and accuracy.
- Manage the development of the final As-Built design package in collaboration with the project team.
- Conduct site visits to ensure design quality and compliance during construction, addressing any discrepancies or required modifications.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports detailing the status of design progress, challenges, and resolutions.

- You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in CSA / contractor design build / main contractor design and build OR
- Project Management in industries above
- Estimating / procurement of package
- Engineering / Civils / Structural background
- Experience in ACC Autodesk / Navisworks / Autocad OR Revit
