Photographer, Brooklyn, NY

UOVO Fashion, the premier storage and services provider for fashion, seeks a Photographer to join its dynamic and growing team. Based in Brooklyn, NY this Independent Contractor will be responsible for photographing garments and accessories in our in-house studios.

Core Responsibilities

1. Responsible for following & maintaining all photo studio protocols set by the Manager
2. Photographing garments and accessories in our in-house studios
3. Digital processing of images in Adobe Photoshop and Bridge
4. Uploading images to UOVO Fashion's database
5. Troubleshooting photography equipment and other related technical issues
6. Assisting with deliveries and driving as needed.
7. Serving as client liaison while in the field
8. Occasional need to lift, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, ability to pull/push 150 pounds on a dolly or a cart or 50 lbs unaided.
9. Other Projects as assigned by Manager

Qualifications & Skills

1. 1-3 Years of professional photography experience, preferably in fashion and/or product.
2. Exemplary knowledge of technical photography equipment including Canon cameras, lights, and grip.
3. Demonstrated ability to style apparel on mannequins and tabletop sets with excellent attention to detail.
4. A high level of proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge & Tethered Photography.
5. Ability to prioritize projects while maintaining consistent quality standards & studio protocols
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This in-person position requires on-site presence at UOVO Fashion's Brooklyn, NY facility on an as-needed basis.

Compensation & Benefits

This in-person position requires on-site presence at UOVO's Los Angeles facility five days a week with occasional requests to work nights and on weekends.
