Senior UX Designer
for a
3–6-month contract
with a
high likelihood of
converting to full-time.
This will be
100% onsite
5-days per week in
Seattle, WA.
This role will shape the future of their publishing tools and reading experiences. You will collaborate with another UX designer and researcher to enhance content-based features and formatting tools, balancing
product design, interaction design, and visual skills
across native and web-based applications.
Key Responsibilities: Reimagine and improve user experiences Work across the
full design spectrum , from vision building to feature execution within existing frameworks. Develop research-backed
personas, journey maps, and usability studies
to inform design decisions. Partner with engineers, product managers, and senior leaders to deliver
accessible, data-driven, and visually compelling solutions . Present design concepts with clear storytelling, options, and
directional alignment
for stakeholders.
Qualifications: Over 6 years of UX Design experience. Expertise in
Figma , Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience designing for
large-scale projects
across desktop and mobile. Strong verbal and written communication skills— clear, concise, and data-driven . Ability to collaborate diplomatically with
executive leadership
and cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have: Portfolio showcasing projects of large scope and complexity. Experience leading
strategic UX initiatives
and working within
Scrum environments . Expertise in workflows with
Q&A-style inputs and recommendation selections
to improve content quality. Ability to synthesize insights from engineers, product managers, and research to
drive alignment and vision execution .
