Marketing Data Analyst – Contract

We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst with 2-3 years of experience to join our team and help translate marketing data into actionable insights for our clients. This role is ideal for someone who is both analytically rigorous and business-minded—able to dive into marketing data, extract meaningful insights, and effectively communicate recommendations to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, constantly seeking ways to enhance performance and test new approaches to elevate marketing efforts and drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain both client-facing and internal dashboards and reports to track marketing performance across digital channels.
  • Analyze campaign metrics and make recommendations to enhance marketing ROI and increase client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate on the development of new marketing campaigns by defining goals, establishing KPIs and determining measurement methodologies.
  • Present findings in a clear, business-friendly manner to clients and internal teams.
  • Evaluate the impact of multi-channel marketing efforts and contribute to marketing attribution models to better understand customer journeys.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve data collection for better decision-making.
  • Implement and enhance tracking through customized Google Tag Manager setups.
  • Ensure data accuracy by identifying inconsistencies and implementing data quality checks.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience working with marketing data sources (GA4, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, CRM, Marketo, 6sense, etc).
  • Proficiency in one or more data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI).
  • Solid understanding of marketing KPIs, attribution models, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Strong communication skills—able to distill complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be a self-starter and detail-oriented

Nice to have

  • Experience in B2B marketing analytics and familiarity with lead generation funnels
  • Google Tag Manager proficiency
  • Familiarity with SQL or Python for data analysis is a plus
