Senior Marketing Operations Manager

Our client, a global tech company, is seeking a Senior Marketing Operations Manager with a strong background in executing marketing strategies, especially within the Latin America region. This hands-on role requires a blend of marketing expertise and operations management to drive regional initiatives, oversee large-scale campaigns, and manage a small team while ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy Execution
- Develop and implement detailed marketing strategies to drive business growth, ensuring alignment with budget, timelines, and brand standards.
- Lead regional marketing efforts, including above-the-line and below-the-line activities, with a focus on Latin America.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations
- Collaborate with sales, Key Account Managers, operations, and logistics teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with overall business and operational goals.
- Oversee campaign execution and ensure smooth communication and coordination between all departments and external partners.
- Ensure marketing displays and campaign implementations meet operational standards and brand compliance.
Team Leadership & Budget Oversight
- Manage a team of marketing professionals, including 3 direct reports and 2 temporary staff, while providing mentorship and leadership throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary approver for marketing budgets, ensuring proper allocation, tracking, and adherence to financial targets.
- Directly manage operational processes such as approval workflows and resource management.
Project Management & Execution
- Oversee the hands-on implementation of marketing initiatives, ensuring that each project meets deadlines, quality standards, and budget goals.
- Coordinate marketing campaign logistics, monitor progress, and adapt to changes as needed to ensure seamless execution across regions.
- Manage external agency relationships from briefing through to final deliverables, ensuring high standards and alignment with operational goals.
Campaign & Product Launch Support
- Support the launch of flagship products, ensuring Go-to-Market strategies are effectively executed and deadlines are met.
- Take direct responsibility for tracking and reporting the status of projects, providing detailed reports to internal teams and stakeholders.
Operational Focus
- Ensure displays and promotional materials are up to company standards at mobile carrier locations.
- Monitor and address any operational challenges that may affect the timely execution of marketing campaigns, including routing and shipment tracking.
- Handle logistical aspects related to campaign implementation across Latin America and the Caribbean (Puerto Rico, Jamaica, St. Thomas).
Qualifications
- Proven experience in marketing strategy development, campaign execution, and team management, with a specific focus on the LATAM market.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in a hands-on, operations-driven marketing role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), with experience managing budgets and working with external partners.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible with working hours and able to manage travel requirements (5% to the Caribbean).
