JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Detailed measuring and layout of striping, lettering, reflective tape, etc. for computer design,
  • Production and application of vinyl graphics to fire trucks
  • Self-check work and inspect prior processes
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Initiate process improvements when able
  • Work in close proximity to customer, as needed
  • Operate any equipment or tools needed to perform the job
  • Assist other team members and departments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • High quality work and attention to detail is a MUST
  • Flexibility with time and schedule - must be able to work with schedules and deadlines
  • Should have 2+ years of related experiences
  • Must have experience with Omega Composer Software or similar software such as Illustrator or Corel Draw
  • Must have experience with Gerber Edge FX and Gerber Envision 375 graphics equipment or similar
  • Must have basic graphic design experience
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure to precise measurements
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain attendance within company guidelines
  • Ability to retain and apply instructions
  • Work overtime on short notice
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Must be detailed orientated
  • Ability to read and understand truck specification documents
  • Ability to communicate and understand in English
  • Ability to work within safety guidelines
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must be able to work with little to no supervision after two weeks

EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED: Required

Functional Experience: 3 to 5 relative years
