Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our Investor Relations team at Monroe Capital, a leading private credit firm. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Investor Relations group to design and produce high-quality marketing materials and presentations for our investors. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating impactful visuals that help communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively. You will be responsible for designing investor-facing presentations, marketing decks, reports, and other materials to promote the firm’s products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and Ideate: Partner with the Investor Relations team to brainstorm and develop visual concepts for investor presentations, quarterly updates, product overviews, and other investor communications.
- Design Marketing Materials: Create polished, professional presentations and marketing decks that effectively convey financial information, market trends, and investment strategies to current and potential investors.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with the firm's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all marketing materials.
- Multimedia Design: Work on a variety of design projects across digital and print media, including PowerPoint presentations, pitch decks, reports, and infographics.
- Project Management: Manage the design process from concept to completion while adhering to deadlines and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- File Management: Organize, manage, and maintain the digital files and assets for all design projects within the content management system.
- Quality Control: Ensure the highest quality standards are met for all design materials, reviewing and editing designs as necessary to meet project specifications and client expectations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience, ideally within a financial services or investment firm, agency, or design team.
- Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel), and experience with Adobe Workfront or similar project management tools.
- Design Expertise: Strong conceptual thinking and a proven ability to create visually compelling presentations that simplify complex financial data.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when dealing with numbers and financial data in marketing materials.
- Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with varying deadlines and demands. Prior experience managing design projects in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and investment professionals.
- Confidentiality: Experience working with confidential and proprietary information, with an understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality in a financial services environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
- Experience with data visualization and the ability to translate complex financial data into easily digestible graphics.
- Previous experience in the finance, investment, or private equity sector is highly desirable but not required.
Compensation: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $68,000-$80,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered.
